2.6.4. CURRENT UNBALANCE
The smART P500 relay has the ability to calculate the current unbalance and to store
those that exceed a certain user defined limit. The relay records the following
information regarding such events:
Current Unbalance counter:
Indicates the number of this kind of events that
have been detected including the present one. This counter has a maximum limit
of 100 after which it changes to zero.
Date and time:
Date and time when the event was detected.
Event duration:
Time span of the event.
Involved phases:
Information about the phases where the event was detected.
Voltages of the three phases:
Stores the value of the phase voltages at the
moment of the maximum current unbalance.
Current of the three phases:
Stores the value of the current for each of the
phases at the moment when the maximum current unbalance occurred.
2.6.5. VOLTAGE THD
The smART P500 relay has the ability to calculate the Voltage total harmonic distortion
(THD). The relay records the following information regarding such events:
Voltage THD counter:
Indicates the number of this kind of events that have been
detected including the present one. This counter has a maximum limit of 100 after
which it changes to zero.
Date and time:
Date and time when the event was detected.
Event duration:
Time span of the event.
Involved phases:
Information about the phases where the event was detected.
Voltage THD
: Voltage THD for the three phases at the moment of occurrence of
the maximum voltage THD comparing over all phases. This value is given as a
percentage.
