5.6.2. FUNCTION CODE 05 – COMMAND OPERATION
To run a command using the function code 05, the number of the command to be
executed must be sent in the value of the field that indicates the address of the coil (coil
address), while in the data field a 0xff00 value must be sent. The number of the
command corresponds with the index of the output that appears in the parameters table
of the proART software, shown in Figure 5-2. For example, if the output dOAA (breaker
trip order) is at the index 0 of the table, running the command 0 will trip the breaker.
There is another way to execute commands, using function code 16. Either of them can
be used.
