7.3. EVENTS REPORT
The smART P500 is continuously running a process which compares the current
parameters to the last ones reported to the master station which is recovering information
from the recloser. If there are differences bigger than the configured deadbands, an event
is generated.
When this happens, the event is sent to a queue that stores the events as they are
detected. The events queue has a capacity of 99 binary input events, 99 analogic points
events and 99 counters events.
The number of generated events will depend on the configured deadband. This
configuration is made with the proART software, and along with the events, will be
transmitted spontaneously when working in non-balanced mode; when working in balanced
mode, the request of this information will be performed by a Class 1 message.
7.4. COMMUNICATION SETTINGS
The Figure 7-1 shows the configuration window for this function which has the following
parameters.
7.4.1. GENERAL
7.4.1.1. QUEUE LENGTH CONFIGURATION
In this section are selected queue length of events and commands, and other details
listed below
Class 1 Queue Length: Defines the number of class 1 events that can be stored
in the queue.
