Disc Height Adjustment
It is necessary to adjust the disc height to permit coins to exit freely beneath
the disc when they reach the payout point. The disc is adjusted to give a
clearance between the underside of the disc and the coin face of 0.3mm –
0.5mm by re-positioning the plastic height adjuster on the underside of the
base plate.
•
Slacken the two screws holding the white plastic shaft clamp on the
underside of the base plate.
•
Slacken the clamp screw for the shaft adjuster (white plastic with
elongated slot on the underside of the base plate).
•
Adjust the shaft height to achieve a clearance of between 0.3mm and
0.5mm between the coin face and the underside of the disc (see Figure
5.3).
Note: For coins greater than 2.5mm thick it is necessary to add an
additional 1mm thick washer beneath the disc.
•
Tighten the shaft adjuster clamp screw.
•
Tighten the shaft clamp screws to achieve perceptible end float on the shaft
of 0.1mm – 0.2mm.
