Attaching the travel rails directly to the wall
6.1
Choosing the correct fixing material
Different fasteners are provided for each installation. In the cardboard box you will find several screws and
wall plugs which should be used for the installation of the travel rail and/or stanchions.

For wall installation: Fixation of the upper hole of the bracket

For wall installation: Fixation of the two lower holes of the bracket

For stanchion installation: Fixation of the stanchion on the floor

For stanchion installation: Fixation of the upper hole of the bracket on the stanchion

For stanchion installation: Fixation of the two lower hole of the bracket on the stanchion
Anchor bolts for installation on concrete walls are not included.
They have to be provided by the installation fitter on-site.
6.2
Measurement of the first mounting hole
Unless otherwise noted on the installation drawing, locate the position of the middle mounting hole first.
Use the given X and Y dimensions.
(See sample drawing chapter 12)
Drill a hole for the first mounting point and attach the travel rails to the wall with the appropriate fasteners.
Select the correct fasteners to correspond with the properties of the supporting wall.
The fitter must decide on site which materials are appropriate and the fasteners that have to be used.

The following fasteners are recommended:

for concrete walls: e.g. HSA Anchor (Hilti)
•
for solid brick walls: Masonry bolts 12x180 with wall plugs
•
for cavity brick walls: e.g. chemical adhesive HY 20 (Hilti) or equivalent
