3.7 Lower Lock Rollers
To adjust or replace the lower lock rollers, perform the following steps. Refer to the
figure as necessary for identification of items referenced below.
1. Move the height adjustment knob to the "TRANSPORT" mode, open the lower
landing gate, and raise the lift car until it stops (approximately 9 inches off the
ground). Refer to the section titled "Installing the Casters for Portability" in the
Operating Manual
for more detailed instructions on moving the height adjustment
knob if necessary.
2. In order to adjust the location of a roller, use a 9/16" wrench to loosen the 3/8-24 nut,
move the roller, and then retighten the nut. It may be necessary to use a large
CAUTION!
Stay clear of the front edge of the lift car floor while operating the lift in the
"TRANSPORT" mode to avoid pinching or crushing injury.
CAUTION!
Electrically isolate the lift according to the instructions in Section 3.2 before
placing hands or arms underneath the lift car in Steps 2, 3, and 4 below.
