Special cards
All cards that are not part of the families of trunk cards or terminal cards belong to
the category of special cards.
IP interface cards AIP 6400 and AIP 6500:
These cards with a different functionality are both based on the card IPI-100BT. It
features a 10/100 MBit/s Ethernet interface with automatic detection of the trans-
mission speed. Depending on the software, the IPI-100BT card becomes the
AIP 6400 card or AIP 6500 card.
•
With the AIP 6400 software the card functionally becomes an Ascotel® IP gate-
way AIP 6400. The applications are VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and QSIG
networking in the IP network. The card makes it possible to network multiple
PBXs in different locations via an existing voice-compatible IP network.
•
With the AIP 6500 software the card functionally becomes an Ascotel® IP gate-
way AIP 6500. Several Ascotel® IntelliGate® systems can be connected in this way
via IP into an Ascotel® IntelliGate® Net and remote workstations with IP system
terminals integrated into the system.
