Save the configuration data in the AIMS database with "

– AIMS creates a new directory with the name of the PBX (e. g. PBX_1) using

" and stores all the existing voice data in that directory.

Replacing the Flash card: Carry out steps 2-7 as described in

Replacing the RAM card: Carry out steps 3-12 as described in

Initiate the upload process as described in the paragraph

as the activation time.
Note: To upload the system software you first need to change the password in
AIMS once.

Change the "
PBX generation
" in AIMS to I7.5.
Note: If the PBX generation is incorrect, AIMS cannot access the PBX after the
software upgrade and generates the corresponding error message.

Load the saved configuration data using AIMS under
"Restore"
, and if necessary
save the data in the PBX with
"Upload"
.

Load the voice files onto the PBX with
Tools

– AIMS loads all the voice data back onto the PBX using "

The PBX is ready for operation with the new system software I7.5 and the famil-
iar system configuration.
Notes:
– An I7.5 system software on a system with insufficient Flash and/or
RAM memory is unable to run, and outputs the corresponding error
messages. The system hardware has to be updated beforehand
using the "Update-Set".
