PACKING/UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
1
. Remove all accessories from the unit.
2.
Remove all liquid wastes and water from
water bottles, and the optional amalgam
separator and bypass filter (if included).
3.
Purge air pressure from air tank.
4.
Detach optional curing light and scaler
instruments from their hoses and install
into their shipping fasteners located under
the top lid.
5.
Place shipping crate base on level floor.
Carefully lift AMC-
20 cart onto
pedestal on base
as shown in Figure
37.
CAUTION:
Two people are
required to lift the
unit onto the base
pedestal. Always
use a 4-point lift
(where handles'
ends attach to the frame) -- do not lift unit
at the centers of the side bars.
6.
Strap the ends of
both handles to the
four anchor eye-
bolts on the base,
as shown in Figure
38.
7.
Place the foot
control pedal under
the cart as shown
in Figure 39.
8.
Wrap the cart with
palletizer stretch
wrap (Fig.40).
9.
Insert the two end
panels and then
the two side walls
into the crate base
as shown in
Figure 41. Note
the adhesive
strips on the
inside of the end-
panel flaps. These
strips adhere the
flaps to the side
walls. Note the
position of the four
“End Up” labels.
10.
Place the packing
material on top of
cart as shown in
Figure 42 and
then place the
accessories box
on top of the
material.
11.
Place the Lid on
top of the crate.
Position the four
strapping blocks
onto the edges of
the Lid as shown
in Figure 43, then
connect the straps
overtop the blocks
and tighten.
NOTE: To unpack
the AMC-20 unit,
perform the above repacking steps in
reverse order.
