The correct flame pattern should be viewed by looking through the view port on top of the unit (Fig. 22).
The correct flame pattern of pilot and main burner are shown in figures 23, 24, 25 and 26.

Cleaning the Main Burner Orifice and Main Burner
1. Turn OFF gas supply to the heater.
2. Remove casing assembly.
3. Disconnect burner tubing and remove orifice holder.
4. Apply compressed air the orifice holder assembly to remove dust, lint or spider webs.
5. Apply compressed air through the hole on the combustion chamber wall where the orifice holder was originally
located to remove dust, lint or spider webs.
6. As parts are being replaced in reverse order, check for gas leaks at all gas connections before replacing the
casing assembly.
