ENGINE TYPE PLATE
Use the information on the engine type plate when requiring
service or sourcing parts for your engine.
MERCEDES ENGINE
The type plate is located on the rear left of the engine (arrow), on
the joint to the valve case, diagonally above the air compressor.

Use the information on the data
plate when discussing service or
sourcing parts for your gearbox.
The data plate is to be found on the lefthand side of gearbox at
the output shaft end viewed from the front of the vehicle.
Steering box data plate is to be found on the steering box body
just below the input shaft end cover.
