Operating Instructions - Part 2
Passenger Mode:
Press the "PASSENGER" button to set the system to passenger mode. This will
illuminate the Amber light on the Main Unit. Adjust the Left Hand volume control (Outside), if required,
to obtain the desired volume from the passenger microphone. You will hear this through a speaker
built into the main unit.
In order to speak to people in the back of the truck, press the talk switch on the hand held
microphone. When you press the talk switch, the internal speaker is muted, so you won't hear your
own voice coming back through the passenger microphone. There is a volume control on the
Passenger Unit for the passenger to adjust the volume level of the driver's voice.
Passenger Call:
In order for the passenger to initiate a conversation with the driver, press the "CALL"
button on the Passenger Station. This will illumniate the Red Call lights on both the Main Unit and the
Passenger Station. It will also sound a Buzzer in the Main Unit and automatically swtich the system
to Passenger Mode.
At this point, it operates as described above in the Passenger Mode description.
