Configure other microphone parameters as required.

(Optional Settings): As required.

Permissions
(Optional Settings):

ANS enabled: Determines whether an Ambient Noise Sensor (ANS) will affect the
broadcast.
•
Selected: The volume of announcements from this microphone will be affected in
those zones controlled by an ANS.
•
Not selected: The volume of announcements from this microphone will no be
affected by any ANS.

Allow partial grant: Determines whether partial grant of routes is allowed.
•
Selected: When some of the selected zones are busy, it will still be possible to
make announcements to the available zones.
•
Not selected: Announcements will only be possible when all selected zones are
available.

Allow partial loss: Determines whether an overridden route is reinstated when override
is removed during the original announcement.
•
Selected: If the microphone announcement is overridden in one or more zones, it
will be reinstated when the override is removed during the original announcement.
•
Not selected: If the microphone announcement is overridden in one or more zones,
it will not be reinstated when the override is removed during the original
announcement.

Do not apply NVC: Determines whether the Night Time Volume Control (NVC) function
will affect the broadcast.
•
Selected: The volume of announcements from this microphone will not be affected
by the NVC function.
•
Not selected: The volume of announcements from this microphone will be affected
by the NVC function.

Emergency class route: Determines whether the route is an emergency class route.
This is only relevant on VIPA devices with an associated VA Router.
•
Selected: Announcements from this microphone will be of emergency class.
•
Not selected: Announcements from this microphone will be of non-emergency
class.
•
PTT All Call
(Optional Settings): Enables/disables the All Call facility for the TTT button

Enabled: The TTT button acts as an All Call button when pressed without a prior
zone selection.

Disabled: The TTT button acts as a Push To Talk button on zones selected by other
microphone buttons or from the microphone’s LCD display menu.

Chime
(Optional Settings): Select the required pre-announcement chime type.

Blank: No pre-announcement chime

: Single note chime

: Two-notes descending overlapping pattern chime
