Backing Up Configuration Settings
The configuration settings for your PlugLAN 8350 Wireless SmarTAP are
recorded in a binary file called
config.bin
. Using the Backup Settings page,
you can save this file to a location for future restore and then restore the
settings when necessary. To display this page, click
System
in the Web
Management utility menu bar and then click
Backup Settings
in the
navigation panel.

To save the file containing the configuration settings:
1. Click the
Save
button on the Backup Settings page.
2. When the dialog box in
Save to Disk
is
selected and click
Save
to save the config.bin file. The Downloads box
shows the location to where the file was downloaded. You can click the
name of this folder in the Downloads box to open the folder.
3. To open the file, use the
Open
link in the Downloads box. To remove the
file, click the
Clean Up
button or the
Remove
link in the Downloads box.

NOTE:
If you save the configuration settings, you can use the procedure under
below to restore them if necessary.
