6.4. Abnormal Shutdown Procedure
The E5 Dual EFI is typically powered through a master switch that is connected to the
aircraft’s bus. Normally, the EFI will power down when the EFI Master switch is turned
OFF or when aircraft power is removed when on the ground. To force the display to
power down, the following procedures are provided.
Shutdown E5 Dual EFI (on ground)
1. E5 Dual EFI Master switch OFF
2. Press and hold the REV Button until the display turns off (

Or
1. Press the MENU Button.
2. Rotate the Right Knob to the POWER SETTINGS Menu page
3. Press the SHUT DOWN Menu Key. The power down sequence initiates, and
a power down message displays
A powering off annunciation displays indicating that the unit will shut down in
5 seconds. The pilot can press any control to abort the power-down sequence.
Power On Manually
•
Press and hold the REV Button until the E5 Dual EFI powers on.
