5. VOLUME DOWN

On the EF1210, this button decreases the output level of the remote audio by 1 dB for
each time the button is pushed.  For the EF1210, you must have the Zone A output
connected to the amplifier for this button to work
Also on the EF200, this button
decreases the incoming phone audio.  On the EF2280, the button executes Macro 53,
which is user configurable to decrease any volume.

Note

This button will only decrease the level of the incoming remote audio and
will not change local mic levels.

EF2280.

9. MUTING

Using the mute buttons on the remote control will mute at the EF200.  The muting
that occurs from the remote control will send either an ascending or descending tone
to the local room speakers to give indication that the EF200 received the command
from the remote control.

MUTE ON

This button prohibits the local room and remote end from sending audio to the tele-
phone caller and receiving audio from the telephone caller.  It also prohibits the local
room and telephone caller from sending audio to the remote end.  You will, however,
still be able to hear audio from the remote end.  When this button is pushed, a
descending doorbell-like tone will be sent to the local room speakers to give audible
indication that the telephone audio has been muted.
