Setting the address
The address of the
ePED
®
CAN-Connector 1386CAN
is set via the two turn-switches
prior to commissioning. A clear address must be assigned for each
CAN-Connector.
The address is assigned in hexadecimal format in the range from 1 (0|1) and
127 (7|F). Each turn-switch represents a digit position:

lower-value digit, e.g. digit

Limits when setting the address:
· If the address 00 is set, it is interpreted automatically as 1.
· If an address from 7F onwards is set, it is interpreted automatically as 127.
Procedure
1 Identify a clear address in the BUS.
2 Set the address.
