Emergency exit device ASSA 179E
This mounting instruction is intended for installation of emergency exit device ASSA 179E
with ordering number: 364371 in combination with lock case Abloy EL580 with ordering
number EL580100011.
Emergency exit device ASSA 179E in combination with lock case Abloy EL580 are approved
for fire doors up to grade E/EI60.

ASSA 179E must be installed together with ASSA strike plate 1887 with following ordering
numbers: 353355, 353356, 353357, 353358 and 353467 alternative Abloys strike plate
LP712. When using strike plate 1887 it is recommended to also use accessory 1893 with
ordering number 808287.
ASSA 179E can be installed with round or oval cylinders with Scandinavian shape.
