Instructions:
1.
Easy-Pad
is the integrated pad solution with
a built-in alarm
, and could be connected
to an external device or a
nurse-call
system.
2.
The device consists of the pad and the attached control unit.
3.
To activate a brand new pad, pull the clear plastic latch in the control unit. This will
activate the pad,
and will set off an alarm.
Press
the green reset button on the control
unit to reset the alarm.
4.
Place the pad on the seat which the residents sit on. The pad should be placed
directly under the resident’s buttocks, and as close as possible to the chair’s back.
5.
Easy-Pad
could be attached to the seat using double-side tape to prevent slipping.
6.
The control unit should NOT be placed underneath the resident’s legs.
7.
Assist the resident to sit on the pad, and the system will automatically activate itself.
No need to press any activation or ON button.
8.
When a resident lifts himself / herself off the pad, the alarm will sound.
The alarm will reset when:
a.
The resident sits back on the pad.
b.
The green, reset button on the control unit is pressed.
c.
The magnet key is attached to the control unit.
9.
DO NOT fold or bend the pad, as folding or bending the pad will effect it’s
functionality.
10.
Clean the pad with a lightly dampened and wringed cloth.
