Assembly & Installation Procedure:
INITIAL CHECKS:
1.
Ensure that the area where the product is to be installed is as level and flat as possible.
2.
Important: Do you have a helper? The assembly is more easily completed with more
than one person.
3.
Check the parts received against the above components list to ensure that the correct
product has been ordered. Retain packaging until after all components have been
accounted for.
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:
1.
When unwrapping, carefully lay out the components on a soft, clean, non-abrasive
surface (e.g. a furniture blanket) so as not to damage them.
Lift - do not slide
. Sliding
may scratch the pre-finished product.
2.
Take the umbrella canopy and unfold it. You will note that it is folded inside out. Reach
up inside it to take hold of the peak ring in the centre of the umbrella.
3.
While holding the peak ring, lift the nearest edge of the canopy up and over the frame
and place the peak ring over the upper hub fitting (as shown below) and spread the
canopy down over the frame.
4.
To secure the canopy on the frame, take the canopy cap and partly thread it
(clockwise) into the upper hub fitting as shown below. Do not tighten at this point.
