3.2 Configuration options
The AX-125/145's GUI enables you to configure the following:
•
WAN
: Enables you to configure the Internet
connection mode (DHCP, Static IP, or PPPoE),
and the DDNS services.
•
LAN
: Enables you to define the LAN IP
(Gateway IP and netmask), and disable/enable
the DHCP service.
•
VoIP
: Enables you to configure the Session
Initiation Protocol (SIP) settings such as SIP
contact port, NAT traversal; configure the SIP
server information; assign call function and
set up phone book settings; configure the
codec settings for your VoIP call function; and
configure other miscellaneous settings for your
VoIP call function.
•
Firewall
: Allows you to enable/disable the basic
firewall functions such as DOS attack filtering,
port scan detection, and ICMP echo reply.
•
NAT
: Allows you to configure the Network
Address Translation (NAT) function settings
such as IP share, DMZ host, port redirect, and port trigger.
•
Traffic Control
: Enables you to configure the allowable upload/download
bandwidth during an active VoIP call. The AX-125/145 has two Quality of
Service (QoS) modes: Policy mode, and Custom rule mode.
•
Management
: Enables you to configure administrative settings such as
enabling/disabling web access allowed from WAN side; GUI authentication to
prevent unauthorized login; upgrading the AX-125/145's firmware; restoring the
AX-125/145's system to factory default settings; restoring or keeping backup of
the AX-125/145 system's configuration; and keeping records of log events.
