Link/Error LEDs
Operation of the Link and Error LEDs is as follows:

Description
On

During power On, both LEDs should light, then the
error LED should go off.
If both LEDs stay on, there is a hardware problem.
On

Idle
Flashing
Off
Normal Operation – transmitting or receiving data
via the LAN.
Rapid intermittent
flashing of each LED
Hardware error, as detailed below.
