Check & Adjustment

This chapter provides an overview of checking and
setting pressures. It is important to contact the
manufacturer for assistance before beginning these
procedures.

Machine Preparation
! WARNING !
Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death
to personnel working on the machine.
To avoid accidental machine starting, disconnect the
battery cables from the battery, tape the clamps and
remove the key.
Place a “Do Not Operate” tag prominently on the ma-
chine to inform personnel that the machine is being
worked on.

Adjustment and test procedures are provided for the

Charge Pressure Check
The service tools required for the charge pressure
check are listed in Table 14-1. Use manufacturer-
recommended tools whenever possible.
