EN 28
Open door alarm
If the refrigerator or freezer compartment door is open for more than two minutes, an acoustic
alarm will be activated. When the door is closed, the alarm will be deactivated.
APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION
High temperature alarm
If the temperature inside the appliance is too high, an acoustic alarm will be activated and
the temperature settings in displays
E
and/or
J
will flash. If the temperature is too high in the
refrigerator compartment, the temperature indicated on display
E
will flash; if the temperature in
the freezer compartment is too high, the temperature indicated on display
J
will flash.
• When the appliance is switched on for the first time, there is a 24-hour delay in temperature
alarm operation as it takes some time for the appliance to reach the adequate temperature.
Thus, unnecessary activation of the alarm is prevented.
• Deactivate the acoustic alarm by opening and closing the door.
• If the alarm is not deactivated manually, it will be sounded for the first five minutes of every
hour.
• The alarm will be switched off automatically as soon as the temperature in the freezer drops
to a level that no longer presents spoilage hazard.
