until all the indicator lights next to the symbol have gone out.

start, the lighting switches on automatically to setting 2 (work
lighting) when you use the hob’s controls.
Hold your hand a few centimetres in front of the lighting
symbol until the setting you want is reached.
You will hear a single beep.
Setting 2 is the work lighting setting, setting 1 is for dimmed

The indicator lights next to the button indicate the setting.
If you have selected work lighting, the radar will dim the
lighting a few minutes after you walk away from the extractor
hood or after the radar no longer detects movement. The

approach the extractor hood again.
If you have selected dimmed lighting, the extractor hood will
remain on setting 1 even when you walk away or when the
radar no longer detects movement.

operation
switching on and off
introduction
When you approach the extractor hood, a sensor
automatically switches the appliance on to standby.
If the extractor hood is not in use and you move away from
it, or if the radar no longer detects any movement, the
appliance switches from standby to off.
When used in combination with a hob fitted with synchro-
start, the fan automatically switches on at setting 1, while the
lighting switches on at setting 2 (work lighting) when you use
the hob’s controls.
You activate the functions by means of (approach-detecting)
sensors. All you have to do is hold your hand in front of the
symbol for the function you require.
You will hear a single beep if you select another function or
setting. Please refer to this page and the following pages for
a description of how to use the features.
switching on the extractor hood

when you approach it.
The standby symbol lights up. You can activate the function

switching the fan on
When used in combination with a hob with synchro-start, the
fan automatically switches on at setting 1 when you use the
hob’s controls.
Hold your hand a few centimetres in front of the fan symbol
until the setting you require is reached.
If you keep your hand in front of the fan symbol, after a few
seconds the setting will jump one setting further (in the
sequence 0-1-2-3-4-3-2-1-0).
The indicator lights next to the fan symbol indicate the
setting. When the required setting is reached you will hear a
single beep.
