7.1.3 Arming the System—STAY
NOTE:
Close all perimeter windows and doors before arming.
Press the STAY key to arm the perimeter sensors only. The system starts an exit delay
time period. The keypad chirps and the LCD displays “Arming - Exit Now,” as shown in
Figure 84: Keypad ─ Arming - Exit Now
You should exit through the designated entry/exit door(s) before the exit delay time
period expires. After the exit delay time period expires, the system is in the Armed-STAY
mode, as shown in Figure 85. The ARMED (Red) LED is illuminated and the LCD
displays “Armed - STAY”.
NOTE:
You may disarm the system during the exit delay time period by entering the four
(4) digit Security Code.
