Output Options Messages
The message area at the bottom of the screen displays the following types of
messages:
Append
Allows you to append the report to an existing file. The
default is OFF.
Delimiter
Specifies the field delimiter for an ASCII file.
■
The default is | (pipe.)
■
This field is required if you selected ASCII as the
report format. If you selected Formatted, you cannot
access this field.
■
You can reset the default delimiter on the Setup
screen.
Page Length
The number of lines in a page.
■
This field is required if you selected Formatted as the
report format. If you selected ASCII, you cannot
access this field.
■
Default = 66 lines
■
Minimum = 15 lines
■
Maximum = 999
Message Description
Prompts
Messages that remind you to enter data into required fields.
These types of messages display after you select Ap ply.
System
Message
Messages that inform you if Fault Management fails to
append or to write a file as requested. You can change your
field entries and try again.
