Headset operation
Caller ID announce
The voice command feature is only available when TL7900 is
registered to a TL7910/TL7912 headset base. This feature lets
you know who is calling without having to look at the display.
You have to install the
AT&T
Softphone Call Manager
on your
computer to use the Caller ID announce function. The software is
available in the
CD-ROM
which comes with the TL7910/TL7912
package. You may also visit
www.telephones.att.com/
downloads
to download and install the software.

Temporary ringer silencing
Press
MUTE/
VOICE
to temporarily silence the ringer in the headset
earpiece. This silences the ringer without disconnecting the call.
The next incoming call rings normally at the preset volume.
Call waiting
If you subscribe to call waiting service offered by your telephone
service provider, and someone calls you while you are already on
a call, you hear a call waiting alert tone.
Press down the
FLASH
switch at the top of
the headset to put your current call on hold
and answer the new call.
Press the
FLASH
switch again at any time to
switch back and forth between calls.
