Boundless Switching with Cascade
Boundless Switching with cascade allows users to move mouse cursor across
screens between two console stations. In boundless switching, the cascaded
unit is controlled by the parent unit, and does not operate independently.
Keyboard and mouse are required to connect to the parent unit for boundless
switch to work.
Note:
1. Boundless switching supports up to 4 displays between two console
stations.
2. It is unnecessary to cascade two console stations, boundless switching
works as long as both console stations are within the same network
segment.
3. Audio output is delivered from the console station where the source
screen is located. For example, the audio output is delivered from the
cascaded unit if the audio source is coming from the 3
rd
display.
4. Virtual media is supported from the console station where the source
screen is located. For example, the virtual media is supported from the
cascaded unit if the USB storage is mounted on it.
To set up boundless switching, please see Cascade, page 63.
