Keep the scope body in the preferred viewing posi-
tion by securing the mounting collar with a clock-
wise turn of the thumbscrew.
EXTENDABLE SUNSHADE
If the sun happens to be in a position in front of
you, please extend this fitted hood to effectively
block out stray light that can. The sunshade also
shields the objective lens from mechanical dam-
age and guards against soiling by fingerprints and
precipitation.
REMOVING THE EYEPIECE
Your Ares G2 UHD Spotting Scope comes with a
removable eyepiece that can be changed for a 22
power eyepiece (sold separately). To remove the
eyepiece follow these instructions:
First, hold the spotting scope with eyepiece
facing to you and push in while turning it
counterclockwise until it becomes loose.
To put the eyepiece back on first align the arrows
on the eyepiece and the chassis of the spotting
scope and then push in while turning it clock-
wise until it can not be turned anymore.
