GENERAL HAZARD
For the installation of solar systems, follow the instructions below and refer to all the regulations, laws and
provisions issued by each authority recognized in the field of safety, in the relevant version in force.
The solar system must be installed and used in accordance with recognized technical regulations. Observe
the applicable accident prevention and protection regulations, especially for roof work. See Decree 494 (August 1996)
and D.L. 626 (19 Sept.1994). Observe the accident prevention regulations of the Institute for Insurance against
accidents at work. In general, all must comply with the regulation in force in the place of installation.
Danger of overvoltage: earth the solar circuit for potential equalization and to protect against overvoltage.
Apply pipe clamps to the solar circuit pipes with earthing screws to be connected with a 16 mm2 copper cable to a
potential equalization bar.
Correct use of the support ladder: the ladders must be placed on safe points at an angle between 65 ° and
75 °; respect a ledge of the ladder of at least 1 m from the overpass to pass over the roof. The stairs must also be
secured against slippage, overturning and failure. Finally, use ladders only to overcome differences in height of max.
5m.
Protection against falling objects: the passage ways or workstations that lie beneath the affected area
must be protected from objects that may fall, slip or roll from the roof. Mark, demarcate and block areas that pose a
danger to people.
Fall protection scaffolding: for work on tilted roofs (from 20 ° to 60 °) fall protection from a height of 3 m is
required. Roof drop protection scaffolding is a solution. The vertical distance between the workplace and the protection
must be at most 5 m. With a roof tilting of more than 45 °, special work stations must be created.
Fall protection wall: a further protection option for work on tilted roofs (up to 60 °) from a fall height of 3 m is
the roof protection walls. The vertical distance between the workplace and the protection must be at most 5 m. The
protective walls must protrude at least 2 m laterally.
Fall safety equipment: if the scaffolding or the roof protection wall are not suitable, it is possible to use fall
safety equipment. Apply the roof safety hook to solid construction parts, if possible above the user.
