Replace the dipstick and screw it firmly into place.
Caution! Do not tighten the screw too tightly, since this may

When should I change the oil?
The first oil change should be carried out after 50 operating
hours, and then every 250 operating hours.
Changing the oil:
1.
The log ram must be in its starting position.
2.
Place a container under the log splitter to catch the old oil.
The container should have a capacity of at least 4 litres.
3.
Unscrew the dipstick. Do not drop or lose the oil seal when
removing the dipstick.
4.
Now tip the machine to empty the oil into the container.
5.
Stand the log splitter on end, with the filler opening at the top.

A second person will be required to up-end and hold
the log splitter.

Pour in the new hydraulic oil (2.7 or 3.2 litres) using a clean
funnel.
