CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL
To check the oil level the engine must be positioned on a level
ground and switched off.
1.
Unscrew the oil filler plug with the dipstick. Wipe off the
dipstick.
2.
Insert the dipstick without tightening the oil filler plug. Check
the oil level on the dipstick.
3.
If the oil level is too low: Fill with the recommended oil to the
rim of the filler neck.
4.
Screw the oil filler plug with the dipstick tight.
Operating the engine with the oil level too low may damage it.
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the used oil as long as the engine is still warm. Warm oil
drains quickly and completely.
1.
Place a suitable vessel under the engine to collect the used
oil. Unscrew the oil filler plug and the oil drain plug.
2.
Drain the oil completely. Now install the oil drain plug again
(tighten).
Dispose of the used oil in an environmentally compatible
manner. We recommend bringing the used oil in a tightly
closed container to your local service station or petrol station.
Do not discard used oil with the domestic waste; do not
dispose of into the soil or pour it into the sewer drain.
3.
Place the engine on a level surface and fill it to the rim of the
filler neck with the recommended oil.
Engine oil amount:
0.6 l
Operating the engine with the oil level too low may damage it.
4.
Screw the oil filler plug with the dipstick tight.
