FIRST FIREWALL CONFIGURATION

Set the IP address 192.168.1.2/24 on the PC or use a DHCP configuration.

Connect the LAN cable in the first right NIC indicated in the below box with an arrow.

Switch on the device by connecting it to the power supply.

You can have access to it at the web management wizard using the below URL:
http://192.168.1.1/wizard.php?xml=setup_wizard.xml
Default access data:
Username:
admin
Password:
pfsense
Serial Access:
To verify the device operations or reset it or config problems, before asking to technical department, keep
a null modem cable and connect the item to the PC by serial, using “Putty” as software.
Parameters:
Baud rate:
9600 (for pfsense 2.1.5 and previous),
115200 (for pfsense 2.2 and following).
Settings: 8 bit/none/1/none.
