Congratulations on your purchase of Atlantis SNMP Interrnal card. This manual
discusses how to install and use this device.
1.1 Overview
This SNMP Card bundled with advanced ViewPower software as an enhanced
communication solution for UPS monitoring and management. This SNMP manager
card allows remote monitor and manage multiple UPSs from anywhere with internet
access. ViewPower software will leverage internet capability of SNMP manager to
remotely program or shut down UPSs.
With the rapid growth of servers, workstations, telecommunication switching
centers, and other centralized, large computing operations, the need for extremely
large scale power management solutions is on the rise. Equipped with SNMP
manager and installed with Viewpower software, power conditions of all UPSs can
be monitored anytime/anywhere even though the UPS units are located in different
floors. Besides, this card also comes equipped with easy-to-update firmware
feature. Whenever the updated firmware is released, system manager can
download it and simply upgrade all with one click.
SNMP Manager can operate with the environmental monitoring sensor to remotely
monitor the environmental temperature, humidity, and smoke. This information can
be allowed to trigger warning notification and auto shutdown.
1.2 Important Safety Instructions
This manual contains important safety instructions. Please follow all instructions
carefully during installation. Read this manual thoroughly before attempting to
unpack, install or operate.
1.3 Inspection
Inspect the UPS upon receipt. Notify the carrier and dealer if there is damage. The
package is recyclable; save it for reuse or dispose of it properly.
