Range and Range Delay Settings
In order to make the best use of the differing frequency maximum ranges while still maintaining the best
possible image, the ARC Scout MkII allows the operator to select different ranges and range delays for each
of the system's frequencies.
As noted under Data Collection Control, the range and range delay settings are controlled by channels 0 and
1. In order to use this feature a number of example messages are shown below:
Example 1 Settings:
Collection Enabled = Yes
Transmit Enabled = Yes
Range Lock = No
Range Delay Lock = No
High Frequency Range = 30m
High Frequency Range Delay = 5m
Low Frequency Range = 80m
Low Frequency Range Delay = 10m
Channel On Selection = 0,1,2,3
