Anatomic SITT put a great deal of care into ensuring the child’s safety. A great deal of effort went 
into  creating  the  proper  design  for  the  seat  unit  and  its  accessories.  The  settings  are  adjusted 
professionally  by  Anatomic  SITT  prior  to  the  initial  use  of  the  seat  unit.  Nevertheless,  it  is 
imperative for the child’s supervisors and parents to adhere to the following safety instructions in 
order to safeguard the safe use of the seat unit. 

2.1 

Safety instructions 

a)  Never leave the child alone in the seat unit and always supervise its use; 
b)  Ensure that all fastenings and parts used the secure the child in position are properly tightened; 
c)  Engage the brakes on at least two of the four wheels; 
d)  The seat unit should only be used on a flat surface; 
e)  The seat unit with indoor subframe may only be used indoors; 
f)  The seat unit may not be used for transport purposes; 
g)  Do not allow other children to play with the seat unit or ride on it; 
h)  Adjustments may only be made by parents or carers; 
i)  Unless absolutely necessary, adjustment of the seat unit should only be done when the child is 

not seated in it;  

j)  Once the adjustments have been made, properly tighten the head screws and clamps; 
k)  Avoid adopting an uncomfortable position for long periods of time while you are attending to a 

child seated in the seat unit; 

l)  To ensure a sturdy connection, never use the maximum height, width or depth; 
m)  Do not exceed the maximum permissible load of 25 kg (size 1), 35 kg (size 2), 45 kg (size 3) or 

80 kg (Sharky). 

 
Safety instructions ‘a’ and ‘b’ are repeated on a warning sticker affixed to the seat unit (see figure 
below). Make sure that this text remains legible at all times. If necessary, ask for a new copy of this 
sticker. 

 

2.2 

Immediate danger 

Practice the following steps designed to rapidly retrieve your child from the seat unit in the event of 
fire or other immediate danger, until you are able to carry them out quickly. 
 

Acting quickly in the event of fire or other immediate danger: 

a)  If applicable: unlock and remove the tray table; 
b)  Hold the child firmly and loosen the parts used to secure the child in position; 
c)  Lift the child out of the seat unit. 
 

Ensure that all fastenings and parts used to secure 

the child in position are properly tightened. 

 

Never leave the child alone in the seat unit. 

Always supervise its use.
