2.4.3.3.Input screens
The input screens can have either of the following two mechanisms for supplying
input:
•
a data
input field
•
a
spin box
The former is suited for both numeric and alphanumeric input and it presents a
number of positions, each of which needs to be filled individually with an (alpha-)
numeric character. The latter is to increase or decrease a value as a whole by using the
up or down key as appropriate.
Below are examples of both types of input screens.

2.4.3.4.Confirmation screens
Confirmation screens are displayed in cases where the system wants to have the user’s
approval before it carries out an operation.
The image below shows the confirmation screen that appears when a shutdown of the
system is requested.
