2  Introduction 

 

2.1  Use 

The Personal Security Pager (PS-Pager) uses the Atus PS6000 or DP6000 systems to provide Personal Security 
to people who work in potentially dangerous locations. The user can generate an alarm that the system acknowledges 
and the system can send messages to the user that the PS-Pager acknowledges. 
The PS-Pager is compatible with all Atus PS6000 and DP6000 personal security and paging systems. 
 
 

2.2  Main features 

PS-pager the PS-Pager can provide the main features: 

 

Send an alarm call.  

 

Two manual alarm calls are available for the user. 

 

Four automatic alarm calls. (Tear-Off, Man-Down, No-Move and Fast-Move alarm 

 

Receive and handle text messages. 

 

Receive speech messages. 

 

Transmit Speech messages (Only for PS3-versions) 

 

Location detection. 

 

Self-monitoring and system scanning functions. 

 

Self-test functions. 

 

The PS3-BAX is applicable to be used in Potentially Hazardous environments as specified for ATEX regulations.
