Post Installation Test
3.8.1 With the aircraft power “ON,” select an audio and video source
equipment that provide AES3 serial digital audio and SMPTE259M
serial digital video to create audio and video signal to the Serial
Digital A/V Splitter. Verify that an audio and video output is present
at each of the output locations.
3.8.2 Repeat the above tests using all Serial Digital A/V Splitter units in
the aircraft.
3.8.3 Note that the SDS-1001-101-x has an LED to indicate whether the
unit has operational power.
