2 Configuration
Concepts
You can configure the device's parameters (including upgrading the software, and
uploading configuration and auxiliary files), using the following tools:
An HTTP-based Embedded Web Server (Web interface), using any standard Web
browser (described in ''Web-based Management'' on page
).
A configuration file referred to as the
ini
file (refer to ''ini File Configuration'' on page
).
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) browser software (refer to the
Product
Reference Manual
).
AudioCodes’ Element Management System (refer to
AudioCodes’ EMS User’s Manual
or
EMS Product Description
).
Note:
To initialize the device by assigning it an IP address, a firmware file (
cmp
),
and a configuration file (
ini
file), you can use AudioCodes' BootP/TFTP utility,
which accesses the device using its MAC address (refer to the
Product
Reference Manual
).
