40. Testing SIP Signaling Calls
Parameter
Description
Route By
[Test_Call_DestType]
Defines the type of routing method. This applies to incoming and
outgoing calls.
[0]
GW Tel2IP = (Default) Calls are matched by (or routed to)
an SRD and Application type (defined in the SRD and
Application Type parameters below).
[1]
IP Group = Calls are matched by (or routed to) an IP Group
ID.
[2]
Dest Address = Calls are matched by (or routed to) an SRD
and application type.
Notes:
For REGISTER messages, the option
[0]
cannot be used as
the routing method.
For REGISTER messages, if option
[1]
is used, only Server-
type IP Groups can be used.
IP Group ID
[Test_Call_IPGroupID]
Defines the IP Group ID to which the test call is sent or from
which it is received.
Notes:
This parameter is applicable only if option
[1]
is configured for
the 'Route By' parameter.
This IP Group is used for incoming and outgoing calls.
Destination Address
[Test_Call_DestAddress]
Defines the destination host. This can be defined as an IP
address
[:port
] or DNS name

].
Note:
This parameter is applicable only if the 'Route By'
parameter is set to
[2]
(Dest Address).
Destination Transport Type
[Test_Call_DestTransportType]
Defines the transport type for outgoing calls.

Authentication Tab
Auto Register
[Test_Call_AutoRegister]
Enables automatic registration of the endpoint. The endpoint can
register to the device itself or to the 'Destination Address' or 'IP
Group ID' parameter settings (see above).

Defines the authentication username.
By default, no username is defined.
Password
[Test_Call_Password]
Defines the authentication password.
