Parameter
Description
[WelcomeMessage]
Enables and defines a Welcome message that appears on the
Web Login page for logging in to the Web interface.
The format of this parameter is as follows:
[WelcomeMessage ]
FORMAT WelcomeMessage_Index = WelcomeMessage_Text
[\WelcomeMessage]
For Example:
FORMAT WelcomeMessage_Index = WelcomeMessage_Text
WelcomeMessage 1 = "**********************************" ;
WelcomeMessage 2 = "********* This is a Welcome message
***" ;
WelcomeMessage 3 = "**********************************" ;
Notes:
Each index row represents a line of text in the Welcome
message box. Up to 20 lines (or rows) of text can be defined.
The configured text message must be enclosed in double
quotation marks (i.e., "...").
If this parameter is not configured, no Welcome message is
displayed.

Enables the device's embedded Telnet server. Telnet is disabled by
default for security.

Note:
Only the primary Web User Account (which has Security
Administration access level) can access the device using Telnet
(see 'Configuring Web User Accounts' on page
60
).
Web: Telnet Server TCP Port
EMS: Server Port
[TelnetServerPort]
Defines the port number for the embedded Telnet server.
The valid range is all valid port numbers. The default port is 23.
Web: Telnet Server Idle
Timeout
EMS: Server Idle Disconnect
[TelnetServerIdleDisconnect]
Defines the timeout (in minutes) for disconnection of an idle Telnet
session. When set to zero, idle sessions are not disconnected.
The valid range is any value. The default value is 0.
Note:
For this parameter to take effect, a device reset is required.
