Telnet Control and Inquiry Commands
Notes on Control Commands
1. The basic structure is the operator, space and then the
zone number or numbers also separated by a space. One com-
mand may affect multiple zones.
Examples:
bus2 3 5 7 (change source to bus #2 for zones 3, 5, and 7)
mute 1 4 (mute zones 1 and 4)
2. A command to take an action which is already active
has no effect. That is, if zone 2 is muted, the command “mute
2” causes no change.
3. Use queries to verify status. There is no feedback from
any command.
4. In general, numbers outside the expected range are
ignored.
