Quick Searching in the Phonebook
How to easily find phone numbers in the Standby
mode:
1. Press the
or
key in Standby mode.
Now, all entries of the phone book will be
displayed in alphabetical order.
2. Enter the first letter of the name by using
the alphanumeric keys.
3. Scroll with the
or
key to desired
name. Press the
or
key to select the
number in another save position under the
selected name.
4. When you find the desired number, press
the
key to place a call to the number.
Or to return to Standby mode, press the
key.
Editing or Deleting a Phonebook Entry
1. Find the Phonebook entry that you want
to edit or delete. Refer to “Searching for
and Dialing a Number in Phonebook” on
page 20.
2. When the desired entry is highlighted,
press the
SELECT
soft key to view the
details of the selected entry.
3. Press the
OPTION
soft key to display the
Phonebook option menus.
4. Press the
key to choose
1:Edit
or
2:Delete
, and press the
SELECT
soft key.
5. To edit, change the number or name.
If you selected
2:Delete
, press the
SELECT
soft key to confirm your deletion.

Noottee: To cancel the deletion, press the B

ACCK
K soft key
when the displays asks you to confirm your
deletion.
6. To exit, press the
