Using Menus
There are two ways to access the menu mode:
• You can scan through all menu options available,
then select the option you want.
• If you know the number of the option you want to
select, you can press the number to quickly access
the menu option. The numbers assigned to each
menu function are indicated in the list on page 25.
To access a menu option by scrolling:
1. Press the
MENU
soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Scroll with
or
key to reach the
desired menu. Press the
SELECT
soft key
to enter the menu.
3. If the menu you have selected contains
submenus, press the
or
key to
select the submenus, and press the
SELECT
soft key to enter the menu.
4. Press the
or
key to find the setting
of your choice.
5. Press the
SELECT
soft key to save your
selection.
To access a menu option using the option number:
1. Press the
MENU
soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the associated number key to select
the desired option.
For example, press
2
for the
Bell&Beep
menu, and then
2
for
Ring Type
.
3. Press the
or
key to find the setting
of your choice.
4. Press the
SELECT
soft key to save your
selection.
To exit the menu mode:
Press the
BACK
soft key from any menu to
return to the previous menu level.
To return to Standby mode, press the
key, or press and hold the
BACK
soft key.
Also, the phone will automatically return to
Standby mode from any menu if no key is
pressed for about 30 seconds.
If you press the
key when a number
displays, the phone will dial the number.
Accessing Menu Mode
This phone offers a range of functions that allows you to tailor the phone to your needs. These functions are
arranged in menus and submenus.
