Overview of the Commissioning
Notes:
Note the following notes if your telephone shows a differing or
unexpected behaviour. If the message
Faulty network setup
is shown
on the display, this indicates that the DHCP server is missing. You can
also operate the telephone with a permanent IP address. To do this,
proceed as described in
Configuring Network Settings Manually
and
subsequently go back to this point. If the setup assistant has started, but
no account is displayed, the telephone could not find any PBX. If the
PBX is available, check whether the corresponding PBX is switched on
and start the search again. To do this, tap on . If the search is not
successful or if no PBX is available, you can also create an account and
the corresponding VoIP provider with the help of profiles. To do this,
proceed as described in
Manually Creating and Configuring a Standard
Creating and Configuring Accounts for VoIP
. If you do not want to use the profiles which are preconfigured
by the telephone, you can also configure VoIP providers and accounts
independently in the telephone. To do this, tap on
Manual setup
.
7. Tap on the PBX.
8. Tap on the desired account type:
• Standard VoIP account:
Enter your internal number configured in
the PBX as username and the corresponding password and tap on
Done
and
OK
.
• System telephony account:
Enter your internal number configured
in the PBX as username and tap on
OK
. Enter the corresponding
password and tap on
OK
.
9. If you have selected the account type
Standard VoIP account
, select
the country and enter the area code of your PBX and your internal
number configured in the PBX.
