Configuration Manager
Operating Instructions for the Configuration Manager
Horizontal navigation bar
The horizontal navigation bar permits you to access the pages
Overviews
and
Monitoring
. To
do this, click the arrow next to the topic, then select the respective page in the list field.
The
Search
in the horizontal navigation bar searches for items in the
Navigation
area. The
entered item is searched in the tree that will open at the respective position if the search has
been successful.
Area Navigation
After login to the configuration manager the areas may be selected in a tree under
Navigation
.
The tree contains the sub-themes in the order to be worked on. Most of the themes have been
summarised under a main theme (
) to reach a clear division of themes. Select the requested
theme/main theme by clicking on it. Open the sub-themes if necessary by clicking on it or click
the plus sign in front of the main theme. Select the requested theme with a mouse click ( ). If
you skip a theme, it may happen that the next page is not available (e.g. because no
subscribers with internal numbers have been configured).
The right pane displays the page of the selected theme.
The area
Navigation
with the selection tree and the selected page are separated by a vertical
line. To broaden a view (the other one will be reduced this way automatically) press (and hold)
the cursor over the separation line and drag the line to the requested position. The
Navigation
area can be hidden or displayed completely (click << or >>). This settings are only valid for the
current session.
Via buttons (e.g.
View
,
Configure
) it is possible to reach following pages that are not included
in the tree. You can return to the previous page by clicking on the button
Back
.
Via register cards on some pages sub-themes may be selected directly. The active register
card is displayed with a yellow background.
Area Help topics
Below the
Navigation
area, you find the area
Help topics
that contains links to different help
topics. It offers help topics related to the opened configuration page (see also chapter Using
the Configuration Manager > Help).
Note:
The area
Help topics
can be hidden or displayed.
