CD disc programming (by remote control)
Up to 32 tracks can be programmed for CD or MP3 file and play in any
order. Before use, be sure the system is at stop mode before programming:-
• Switch to CD/USB/SD mode and stop the CD playback.
• Press PROGRAM - program no. and digits for track no. to be
programmed will apear on the display.
• Select a desired track by pressing SKIP/PREV buttons (24/13).
• Press the PROGRAM button to store the track into memory.
• Repeat the procedure to enter additional tracks into the memory if
necessary.
• When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press PLAY/PAUSE
(16) to play the disc in assig- ned order.
• To cancel the programmed file, press STOP button on th RC until
“PROG“ is disappears from the dis- play (2)
Remarks: In case no name had been assigned for a track, “none“ or
“unknown“ is being displayed on the display. The display (2) supports
English language only. MP3 track format requirement: MP3 bit rate: 32
kbps~256 kbps. The performance of playing mp3 disc is depending on
the quality of the disc and the method of recording. Furthermore, the
searching lead-time for mp3-cd is longer than conventional music CDs.
PLAYBACK OF MP3 FILES FROM USB/SD CARD
The system is capable of playing back MP3 files stored on USB memory
devices or memory cards.
• Set the function selection button (6) to „USB/SD“ and select „USB“ or
„Card“ with the source button (4).
• Connect a USB memory or insert a memory card. Inserting a USB media
or memory card the wrong way round may damage the device and/or
memory.
• The device will automatically read the media after it is inserted and
display the number of available tracks.
• The playback operation is the same as for the CD/MP3 CD.
Note
: The unit can detect and read MP3 files only through the USB port.
If you connect an MP3 player, it may not be recognized due to different
file formats. This is not a malfunction. The USB port does not support
USB extension cables and cannot be connected directly to a PC.
