USB MODE
The system is able to decode and play MP3
files stored on a storage
medium with a USB connection.
1. Press the USB button (9) repeatedly to select USB mode.
2. Insert the USB stick face up and make sure it is fully inserted. Insert the
USB stick straight without bending it.
Note
: If you connect the USB
stick upside down, the audio
system or the USB stick may
be damaged. Check that the
direction is correct before
connecting.
3. The device automatically starts reading the storage medium after
connection and the LCD screen (2) displays the total number of MP3
files and the total number of albums found.
4. Follow the same instructions as for playing a CD/MP3 disc.
Please note:
•
The device can only recognise and read the files in MP3 format via the
USB connection.
• When you connect the device to an MP3 player via the USB port, some
MP3 players may not be playable via the USB port due to differences in
MP3 encoding format. This is not a malfunction of the device.
• The USB port does not support connection with a USB extension cable
and is not intended for direct communication with a computer.
Removing the USB stick
To remove the USB flash drive, first turn off the device or switch the function
mode to CD or Tuner. Remove the USB stick from the USB port by pulling it
directly out of the USB port.
